We named it Hemel op Aarde (Heaven on Earth) as you really get that feeling of complete calm and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lush trees cocoon visitors on arrival, creating a true “forest feel’’ that also attract an abundance of bird life to the area. Peeking out from halfway up the mountain, the views over the water are truly spectacular.

Hemel op Aarde has unique features This is one of the only properties in Kosmos with easy access and abundant parking beneath the shady trees in front of a double lock-up garage. From the same level, enter through the heavy wooden front door to find a spacious, open plan lounge and dining area with the modern kitchen at the back.

An open, stoep with braai adjoins the lounge, which is ideal for admiring the unparalleled views or just soaking up the serene atmosphere. Tucked away downstairs are the three double bedrooms sleeping six people comfortably. Each room has a massive window providing glorious views over the water, with two modern bathrooms servicing the three bedrooms.

Comfortably sleeping six people, rates are only R1500 per night with a minimum of two nights stay over weekends.
